We have a vacancy for a capable, self-motivated Office Coordinator to join our busy professional engineering consultancy team based in Kew East.

 

This is not only a truly diverse and challenging position, but you will also play an important role in helping to grow and improve the company through a passionate and pro-active approach to understanding the business and customer needs.

 

You will be in charge of all the admin functions in the office, and more.  Your role is crucial in helping to make the entire office run smoothly and efficiently.

 

Your responsibilities will be:

  • Assist with research and correspondence relating to legal, contractual and insurance matters
  • Administrative support for engineering project work
  • Office management duties such as supplier management, stationery supply, filing and archiving
  • Maintenance of the technical library
  • Support of the marketing function, when required, which may include assistance with the company’s capability statements, advertising and promotional activities
  • Support of the finance function, when required, which may include tasks such as entering creditor invoices into the company’s database, invoicing customers, etc.
  • HR duties such as staff induction processes and contract preparation, when required
  • All tasks relating to office administration

 

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications and previous experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Well developed problem solving and organizational skills
  • Strong computer skills

ELECTRICAL DESIGN ENGINEER – NEW POSITION posted March 29, 2010

We have a new opportunity for an Electrical Engineer with a minimum of 2 years post-graduate experience to play a key role in the company’s future performance and development.

You will need the following minimum qualifications, experience, skills and attributes in order to successfully perform in this position:

 

Qualifications:

  • An Australian recognized Degree of Bachelor of Electrical Engineering.
  • Eligibility for membership to the Institute of Engineers Australia
  • A current drivers licence issued in Australia

 

Experience:

Design experience in some of the following areas is essential.

  • Power generation
  • HV, MV and LV switch gear and reticulation
  • Protection and metering systems
  • Transformers and HV motors
  • Earthing systems
  • Field instrumentation
  • DCS and PLC control systems

 

Skills:

  • Excellent English, both written and spoken
  • Good interpersonal, social and team skills to develop positive working relationships with customers, staff, associates and suppliers
  • Strong organisational and planning skills
  • Well developed problem solving skills
